Julian Chou-Lambert is an award-winning baritone and composer based in London. A versatile artist, his range of repertoire and experience in both performance and composition includes opera, oratorio, art song, film and jazz styles.
On the opera stage, he has worked with companies including OperaUpClose, Berlin Opernfest, Opera Holland Park and Hampstead Garden Opera. In concerts, he has performed in venues including Ely Cathedral, The Sheldonian Theatre Oxford, Dartington Hall, and Shoreditch Town Hall.
Alongside singing, he also composes a variety of music, from The Lingerer, which was a finalist in ENO's mini opera competition, to the score for BBC documentary Art of the Night. He won second prize in the Deutsche Bank Awards for Music.
Julian was awarded a choral scholarship and a first class degree in Music from Trinity College, Cambridge, a Masters with distinction in vocal performance from the Royal Academy of Music, and an Elizabeth Luxton Memorial Scholarship to train at the Berlin Opera Academy.
